Report on Land Transport

                      Report on Land Transport

Land Transport is the most commonly used transport in New Zealand.

The one wheeled unicycle is called a Monowheel but it is not commonly used because it is very difficult to ride.It is very widly used by young people and some young people use schooters and bikes at the skatepark.

The three wheeled tricycle,Rickshaw and Lyric is not very much  used by people in New Zealand.

The Rickshaws are three wheeled motorized transport. They are widely used in the major cities in Asian countries for carrying passengers.

There are some fantastic fast cars that are used on the road and some are fast, loud and private. There are some people that come to school on a skateboard or by a car.

Some fantastic vehicles that are six wheeled  are  Trucks and Buses and they are mostly used as  passenger vehicles and for transporting cargo.

The ten wheeled transporters are container trucks, Oil Tankers, Cranes, Tow Trucks, Vehicle Carriers and Fire Engines. They are used for carrying heavy loads over long distances and in emergencies.

Land Transport is very important for all of us since people need to travel to school or work. It makes peoples lives a lot easier.

Centre Stage By Kenn Benn

The story is about Donna who was going to perform in front of the school. The characters in the story are Donna, Alice, Tama and Mr Warner. The story  takes place at school. The main problem was the stage because Tama and Alice did not turn the stage properly. The characters solved the problem when Tama used a felt tip pen to mark a starting point on the stage. The thing that I liked about the story was that the stage turned.

Melenaite's Story

During my two weeks of holidays the first week I went to the swimming pools on saturday with my family and I was having a very good time.

On the second week I went to my aunt's house so that in the morning we could go to my uncles game. We also planned to visit the farm afterwards so when we woke up we got ready and we packed some lunch for our family day out.

Next we were at the game and we were watching my uncle play rugby. He was playing for Manukau but sadly, at the end they lost but no worries, unless they tried.

After that, me and my family went to visit the farm and first I went to have a ride on the horses. I also went to feed the rabbits then we had to go home and I had a very good time there.

I felt very great on my two weeks of holidays because I had been visiting different places and I had fun.
