My Reflections on Netbooks, Taki

My Reflections on Netbooks

Hi, My name is Taki I am a year 5 student and Glenbrae School and I am in Room 9. My teacher is Mr. D. Nath.

This year was an exciting year for me because I started using a Chromebook.  I was fascinated by the thought of doing so many cool things on my Chromebook but it took me some time to really start using it effectively. There were so many things to learn and I tried my best to learn as much as I could from my teacher, whanau and friends.

These are my reflections on what I did.

The things that I have learnt from my teacher was how to use the Chromebook, I learnt a lot of things about cyber safety, accessing the class site and how to blog my work.

The things that I learnt by myself was how to improve my typing skills and the keyboard shortcuts. I have learnt how to screenshot my work and how to change my password.

I  am able to think about the topics that I am going to research on and write questions using using google docs. I am able to post onto my own blog although I found it difficult at first. I am also able to read more online books, stories and articles while looking for information , deciding which sites are safe for me to access and use information from, sharing my learning on my blog and also on the class blog.
