Tsunami Acrostic Poem (Sam)

Taking a surfboard
Surfing the big waves
Useless waves
No tsunami is small
Any tsunami can take you down
Mega waves come
Incoming disaster

Poem on Tsunami, Chris

Tsunami

Tsunami are unusual waves that can cause great damage.
Sizes of tsunami can be quite large.
Unusual changes in the oceans can tell you that a tsunami might be coming.
Never stay to watch a tsunami.
Always be alert at the beach or in other coastal areas.
Move quickly but safely to higher ground if you think a tsunami might be coming.
If the earth shakes move to higher ground. A tsunami may soon strike your area.

Acrostic Poem - Earthquakes

Acrostic Poem - Earthquakes

Earthquakes are horrifying
Areas that you are not allowed in
Relatives in danger
Taking food and water bottles
Hiking in the night
Quest to find a tent
Unhealthy food
Any people and animals
Killed people gets a grave
Emergency kits are ready

Poem, Journey through the Stars by Alan Bagnall

Journey through the stars (a poem for Norm) by Alan Bagnall

On this gently pulsing deck I lie,
Gazing down into the infinite depths of a night sky.
For every star in our galaxy is reflected on a polish sea.
Stars above and stars below all sense of earth is disappearing.
Life is a space journey - anyone steering.
