Giving  Directions

Goal

To walk from Glenbrae School to Tamaki College.

Materials

A map of Glen Innes.

 

Steps

1.Walk out of the school gate  and turn left into Leybourn Circle.

2. Walk up to the foot crossing and Stop.

3. Look to the left and right and when the road is clear walk across the road and turn right.

4. Walk up to Fenchurch Street and turn left into Fenchurch Street.

5. Walk past Aveline Place and Sunnymead Road until you come to Taniwha  Street and the Fenchurch Dairy on the right.

6. Turn right into Taniwha Street

7. Walk past Glen Innes Play Centre on the right and walk until you come to Tamaki College Gate.

The Water Fun Day by Lorraine

On Monday, 18th February, it was Water Fun Day at Glenbrae School.

First we got in to our togs.  Then we went outside to our house areas.

Next we marched up the hill to the courts.There Ms. Repata told us about the activities.

Finally we started the water fun day. We took part in different water relays. We did the three legged race, the Zig-zag race and the water slide relay. We all got wet  and it was fun.

When we had finished, we assembled in the courts again. Mrs. Moopanar told us that the Green House had won.  

Then we went to the toilets to get changed into our dry clothes.

We felt that it was so much fun to have a Water Fun Day on a very sunny day at our school.
