Poem, Journey through the Stars - By Alan Bagnall

Journey through the stars (a poem for Norm) by Alan Bagnall

On this gently pulsing desk I lie,
gazing down into the infinite depths of a night sky.
For every star in our galaxy is reflected on a polish sea.
Stars above and stars below all sense of earth is disappearing.
Life is a space journey - anyone steering.

Acrostic Poem, Earthquake

Emergency
After building busted
Running away
Terrible
Helpless people
Quakes
Unhappy people every where
Awful lives are lost
Kind people help the people who are trapped
Extreme earthquakes

Acrostic Poem, Earthquake

Earth shaking
Accident glass smashing
Running animals
Tectonic plates moving
Homeless people
Quick people scared
Unhappy people everywhere
Air pollution
Kind people  helping
Enormous shaking.

Acrostic Poem, Tsunami

Acrostic Poem, Tsunami

Tsunamis are unusual waves that can cause bad damage.
Sizes of tsunamis can be quite large.
Unusual changes in the ocean can tell you that a tsunami might be coming.
Never stay to watch a tsunami.
Always be alert at the beach or at other coastal areas.
Move quickly but safely to a higher ground if there is a tsunami coming.
If the earth shakes move to a higher ground. A tsunami may soon shrike your area.

Acrostic Poem, Christchurch Earthquake

Christchurch Earthquake

Christchurch Earthquake

Crumbling buildings
Humans screaming
Roads cracking
Intense shaking
Sad families
Trembling people
Churches breaking
Hurt people
Unsightly liquefaction
Red blood all over the place
Christchurch Cathedral spire tumbling
Houses falling

Earth rolling
Aftershocks continue
Rubble all over Christchurch
Train lines buckled
Hygiene falling
Quakes are devastating
Under the rubble, trapped people
Asking will it stop
Kind rescue crews
Endless quakes

Acrostic Poems, Earthquake

My Acrostic Poem

Earthquakes are horrifying.
An earthquakes rumbles our world.
Real earthquakes can shake the ground.
Tectonic plates can cause earthquakes.
Huge earthquakes are very big.
Quick get under a table.
U.s.a is as big as a tectonic plate.
A crack can get so deep and wide.
Kids get scared so they cry.
Extreme horrifying cracks.
